What to expect when you come to visit us.
Visiting any church for the first time can be a tough experience. Where to go? What to wear? What time to show up? What can I expect? We want your first visit be a refreshing and enjoyable experience for you and your family. We want you to experience traditional hymns, helpful teaching and preaching, friendly people, and a place where you feel welcome and “at home.” Here are a few answers to your questions and what you might expect on your first visit.
What time to show up? What can I expect?
Our Sunday Morning services consist of two hours of Biblical Instruction followed by a Sunday lunch which is provided by Old Landmark. The first half of the service begins at 10:00 am. We sing a few hymns and have an interactive Bible instruction consistent with a traditional Sunday School environment. We enjoy a short fellowship time and coffee between the first and second half. The second half of our Sunday Morning services begins at 11:00 am. This is our formal worship service with more hymns, followed by an expository style message from our pastor. Following our morning services we enjoy more fellowship over a Sunday Lunch.
What to wear?
We do not have a dress code at Old Landmark MBC for members or guests. Our ministry leaders and many of our church family dress in more traditional “Sunday” dress; however, our main goal is that you would feel welcome and comfortable on your first visit here!
